In these small summer classes, students will learn the necessary strategies and tools that will enable them to be successful in school and in life.
Individual parent consultations and student follow-ups are available to help transfer the strategies learned in the classes to the students’ academic work.

Master Your Mind: Promoting Executive Function Skills in Elementary, Middle School and High School Students For Students entering grades 2-12
These classes are grounded in our research-based and internationally known SMARTS executive function curriculum. Students will learn valuable executive function strategies for goal setting, organizing, planning, note-taking, remembering, and studying. Students will leave with a personalized strategy notebook for use throughout the school year.
Make A Splash this Summer: Read!– A Summer Book Club
For students entering 4-7th grade
Working in small, collaborative groups with an experienced reading specialist, students will explore comprehension strategies and experience summer reading in a fun and exciting way. Students will leave the workshop with their summer reading complete, a set of active reading strategies, a list of comprehension strategies and executive function skills.
5-Star Test-taking: SSAT/ISEE –5 essential strategies for improving test performance
For students entering 7-12th grade
Students will learn 5 essential strategies for improving standardized test performance. Using specific examples from the SSAT/ISEE students will have the opportunity to practice these strategies and apply them directly to the test. Course work is designed to meet the needs of students who have learning, attention, and executive function difficulties. Students will leave with a personalized strategy notebook.
