Hannah Turner, M.S. CCC-SLP

Hannah Turner is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Reading Specialist who works as an Educational Therapist at the Institute for Learning and Development. Hannah specializes in engaging students with literacy- and language-based learning disabilities in their own learning processes, especially as these disabilities relate to challenges in executive functioning and social-emotional regulation. She focuses on language comprehension, writing, organization, and social pragmatics. Hannah integrates current events, assistive technology, games, and video modeling into her educational therapy in order to create an engaging, supportive, and fun learning environment. Hannah is particularly passionate about supporting students throughout the writing process, from elementary school projects to college term papers.

In addition to working at ILD, Hannah works at Dearborn Academy’s Elementary/Middle School program for students with social-emotional and learning disabilities. She earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in addition to a Massachusetts license as a Reading Specialist from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.
