experiences… I eventually found answers at ILD."- high school
student

clearer sense of what to do to help my son develop
better academic and social skills." - elementary school parent

• “…. I am doing much better in school.
My confidence has been restored and I love learning again. Thank you,
RILD and Dr. Meltzer, for helping me be who I want to be.”
• “…After using the new ways of learning taught by Dr.
Roditi, I learned that the new strategies aren’t so difficult at
all…..my work improved. I owe it all to Dr. Roditi for teaching
me this work. I use the strategy all the time now because I get the results
that I was always looking for. I now don’t just use these strategies
for Beth; I use them for myself….”“… Your belief
in your students, and your understanding of how to teach them is all remarkable!
Thanks to Joan Steinberg for sharing all of this with Michelle. She has
truly blossomed with the benefits of your talent. We are so lucky to have
been able to work with you at ILD”...“With every recommendation
I make to another mother to call you I remind myself that I have as yet
to tell you myself how much I appreciate your work with Ari. The work
itself – t he strategizing, tutoring, hands-on-grappling, is only
part of it. What I am most grateful for is what you’ve brought of
yourself – the calm stillness in your listening and the clarity
and steadiness in your understanding. You have really bolstered Ari, with
all his strengths and vulnerabilities, so that he can bolster himself….
Ari is doing great and feeling great. He speaks of you with the warmth
and fondness that reflect how much he values you as his counselor/mentor/tutor/friend”.
• “Rob made honor role first semester – the first for
Rob!… He had a great year and has taken some leadership rolls in
high school clubs and his summer lifeguarding job. We all want to thank
you! You were a wonderful tutor for Rob. For the first time, he enjoyed
going and learning! We deeply appreciate all of the time and effort you
gave to Rob…Boy, it really feels like we are closing one chapter
and opening a new one”.
